Faculty and staff parking permits are now available for 2021-22

Annual, monthly and daily permit options are available for the West Lafayette campus

Faculty and staff parking permits are now available for purchase online, and Parking and Transportation Services is offering the same faculty and staff parking permit options as last year.

All parking permit prices are consistent with last year’s rates.

  • Annual “A” ($250) and “B” ($100) parking permits
  • Monthly “A” ($30) and “B” ($15) parking permits
  • Daily parking permits ($5)

“For many, COVID-19 introduced remote or hybrid work schedules, and as a result, last year was the first time we offered monthly or daily parking permit options to faculty and staff,” says Keene Red Elk, director of logistics. “We are pleased to make these options available again and encourage each individual to choose the permit that best fits their needs and amount of time on campus.”

The monthly and daily parking permits cannot be used in the Grant Street or Harrison Street parking garages. Additional information about all parking permit options is available online.

Current annual parking permits and Garage Access Cards (“A” permits only) expire on Aug. 15, 2021. Garage access cards should be destroyed at that time. New annual permits will be valid Aug. 1, 2021-Aug. 15, 2022. In order to avoid delays or have a lapse in campus parking eligibility, faculty and staff who wish to purchase an annual “A” permit should do so by Aug. 6 to allow time for delivery of the associated Garage Access Card through campus mail.

Parking permits may be purchased throughout the year if working location assignments change; however, no prorated refunds for annual permits paid in full will be given after March 1, 2022; requests to cancel payroll deduction payments must be made before May 1.

Individuals who previously purchased an annual, monthly or daily University parking permit during the 2020-21 academic year were recently sent an email with additional information from Parking and Transportation Services.

Most parking and permit questions should be directed to Parking and Transportation Services at 765-494-9497 or parking@purdue.edu. Questions related to accessible parking for people with disabilities should be directed to Susan Black, Parking senior manager, at seblack2@purdue.edu or 765-494-9493.
