Nominations sought for MaPSAC Excellence Award
The Compensation and Benefits Subcommittee for the Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (MaPSAC) is seeking nominations for the MaPSAC Excellence Award. Nominations can be made now through April 26.
This award recognizes a full-time management or professional staff member (operations/technical staff are included) from the West Lafayette campus who demonstrates excellence by:
- Showing initiative.
- Leading by example.
- Showing exemplary customer service.
- Acting as a University ambassador.
- Being a high performer.
The winner of the award will receive a plaque and $1,500 (subject to tax withholdings). Current MaPSAC members cannot be nominated. Any member of the University community can make a nomination, including faculty and students.
Nominations are to be submitted via a Qualtrics survey and must include a statement that outlines how the nominee meets the areas of excellence listed above and two letters of recommendation from any faculty, staff or student.
The 2020 MaPSAC Excellence Award winner was Tracy Hieatt, senior administrative assistant in the Honors College.
