MaPSAC awards grants to 22 employees for professional development

MaPSAC has awarded individual professional development grants to 22 management and professional staff members for the spring application cycle.

Grants up to $750 are awarded twice a year. MaPSAC, the Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee, presented a total of $9,513 for its spring 2021 grants. The volunteer committee reviewed 31 eligible applications. The committee thanks applicants for their patience as pandemic-related realities affected the review process. The fall application period will open in September and be available to support activities occurring from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.

Grant recipients, their positions and the areas in which they work are:

Paige Ebner, assistant director, Center on Aging and the Life Course
Brandi Farrer, program manager, Purdue Agricultural Alumni Association

Danielle Hayden, assistant director of financial aid, Division of Financial Aid
Evelyn Howard, program coordinator, Krannert student services
Susan Khalifah, director of student experience, Civil Engineering
Peng Li, analytical chemist/instrument development specialist, Office of the Indiana State Chemist
