M.D. Steer Audiology and Speech Language Clinic offering literacy evaluations

Purdue’s M.D. Steer Audiology and Speech Language Clinic is now scheduling literacy evaluations for the month of May for children in grades 1-8.

Parents may consider scheduling an evaluation if they're concerned about their child’s reading development; if their child is having trouble with reading, writing, and spellings; if their child performed poorly on the IREAD 3; if their child is falling behind grade-level expectations for reading.

Graduate students will conduct the evaluations under the supervision of licensed, certified speech-language pathologists who specialize in assessment and treatment of literacy disorders.

For more information and to schedule an appointment, contact Sarah Robso at srobso@purdue.edu or 765-496-3679. Space is limited and standard clinic rates apply.
