Faculty applications invited for selection of Scholarship of Engagement fellows
A dozen assistant or associate professors from Purdue's West Lafayette, Northwest and Fort Wayne campuses will be chosen this spring for the University's 2021-22 Scholarship of Engagement Fellows Program. The purpose of the program is to foster the development of the scholarship of engagement for faculty throughout the Purdue system in support of the promotion and/or tenure process.
Fellows will work with a panel of senior faculty mentors from the Purdue system who have a history of successful engaged scholarship. The program will focus on: 1) understanding the scholarship of engagement; 2) documenting impact; and 3) evaluating impact. Fellows will receive direct feedback from mentors on their promotion document, based on scholarship of engagement.
Applications must be submitted to Lisa Duncan at llduncan@purdue.edu by 5 p.m. April 23. Final decisions will be made and communicated to the applicants by May 10.
More information about the program, including how to apply, is available online.
