CSSAC selects vice chair, emeritus members

The Campus Support Staff Advisory Committee (CSSAC) elected its next vice chair and emeritus members during its May 11 meeting.

Heather Holley, lead business assistant for the College of Liberal Arts, was elected vice chair for 2021-22. She will take office as of CSSAC’s September meeting. At the same time, Brock Turner, current CSSAC vice chair and a material expeditor in Procurement Services, will become chair.

Members also elected Sara Mellady and David Montgomery, who will complete their terms in September, to become nonvoting emeritus members for 2021-22. Emeritus members, serving one year, provide knowledge to newer members, assist with continuing or ongoing projects, and assist CSSAC in representation on University committees. Mellady is the current chair of CSSAC, and Montgomery leads its communications subcommittee.

CSSAC is continuing to accept applications for membership through May 31. Members generally serve three-year terms, and they would begin with the September meeting.
