The Women in Engineering Program at Purdue is inviting high school freshmen and sophomores to attend a free virtual information session. “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” on Feb. 27 is geared toward girls interested in engineering.

Participants will experience hands-on engineering challenges while engaging with current female engineering student mentors. Registration includes free shipping of materials for sessions but is limited for each discipline and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, within the U.S.

Check-in will begin 9:30 a.m. ET and the event will end by 2:30 p.m. An optional parent session, hosted by staff from the Women in Engineering Program and industry representatives, will occur at 10-11:15 a.m.

More information and online registration are available on the Women in Engineering Program website. Registration deadline is Feb. 17 or capacity.
