Survey on age friendliness in higher education invites participation

Faculty, staff and students on the West Lafayette campus are invited to participate in a new study titled “Taking the Pulse of Age-Friendliness in Higher Education in the U.S.” The survey invites respondents to share their opinion on Purdue’s campus climate for older people, including strengths and areas for growth.

Purdue’s Center on Aging and the Life Course has been invited to take part in the study, which is conducted by the University of Massachusetts-Boston and Lasell University, for the Age-Friendly University Global Network. Once the results are in, the data will enable Purdue to benchmark its campus climate in comparison to other universities.

The survey will run through Feb. 28 and will be available to take on a computer or on a mobile device. The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete, and responses will be recorded anonymously.

Questions can be directed to calc@purdue.edu.
