Provost’s Protect Purdue ‘Conversation’ to discuss vaccines and Fall 2021

Provost Jay Akridge will host a Protect Purdue virtual conversation from 1 to 2 p.m. March 15. This series of conversations was initiated last fall to answer faculty and staff questions and to keep the campus community updated on the Protect Purdue Plan.

The Protect Purdue Conversations are a one-hour, moderated session that features a panel of experts and leaders who are directly involved with the implementation of the Protect Purdue Plan. Questions from faculty and staff submitted in advance and during the session will be answered during the conversation.

The panel members are:

  • Jay Akridge, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs and diversity.
  • Willie Reed, dean, College of Veterinary Medicine, Protect Purdue implementation team.
  • Beth McCuskey, vice provost for student life.
  • Eric Barker, dean, College of Pharmacy, Protect Purdue implementation team.
  • Esteban Ramirez, chief medical officer, Protect Purdue Health Center.
  • Jenna Rickus, vice provost for teaching and learning.

Questions for the Protect Purdue Conversations can be submitted here.

Each virtual conversation will be livestreamed on the provost's website, and a recording will be available on the same webpage two to three days after the event.
