Nominations sought for 2021 outstanding senior students

Nominations are being accepted for the Flora Roberts Award (outstanding senior woman) and G.A. Ross Award (outstanding senior man) for 2021.

Faculty and staff are invited to nominate students for these awards, which recognize the two seniors who best fulfill the following requirements:

  • Graduating senior man or woman (December 2020, May 2021, and August 2021 graduates can be nominated).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  • Commitment to scholarship (undergraduate research, publications, etc.).
  • Commitment to leadership and service (on campus or in the community).
  • Outstanding character.

A committee composed of student peers and representatives from the Office of the Dean of Students will select each award recipient. Recipients will receive a bronze-plated medal, a certificate, and $2,000 gift, and each will have their name inscribed on the permanent award obelisk located on Purdue Mall.
