New and revised systemwide standards

A new systemwide standard and an update to an existing one are effective Monday (Nov. 2).

Repurposing and Renaming Named Spaces (S-21)
This new standard supports the policy on Charitable Donations to the University (II.B.2) by clarifying the circumstances under which a named space may be renamed or repurposed and the approval requirements for doing so.

Responsible Conduct of Research (S-20)
Updates to this standard provide greater flexibility for colleges, schools, departments and centers to coordinate the field-specific portion of the required training and remove the reporting/monitoring component.
