Human Resources issues reminder regarding upcoming holidays, winter recess

The University will be closed from Dec. 21 through Jan. 1, except for essential operations as outlined by departments and units.

As President Mitch Daniels announced, Dec. 21 and 22 have been added to the previously announced 2020 winter recess days (Dec. 29-31). Dec. 23, 24, 25 and 28 are holidays, as is Jan. 1.

Pay practices for the 2020 winter recess are also available.

Any staff who have previously scheduled leaves on the winter recess days – now including Dec. 21 and 22 – will need to review the 2020 Winter Recess FAQs document. If none of the situations apply, then the request will need to be canceled by the employee.
