COVID-19 testing, tracing to be addressed in provost’s next ‘Protect Purdue Conversation’

The provost’s Protect Purdue weekly virtual conversations will continue at 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday (July 22). The discussion will revisit health and safety questions with a focus on testing, tracing and case management.

The series of conversations was initiated this summer to answer faculty and staff questions and to keep the campus community updated on the return to residential instruction this fall.

The Protect Purdue Conversations each will be a one-hour, topical, moderated session that features a panel of experts and leaders who are directly involved with the implementation of the Protect Purdue Plan. Questions from faculty and staff submitted in advance and during the session will be answered during the conversation.

Future sessions are being planned based on feedback from faculty, staff and students and are tentatively scheduled for the following dates:

  • July 29 (W)
  • 4 (Tu)

Details will be shared via Purdue Today and the Protect Purdue weekly briefing.

Questions for the Protect Purdue Conversations can be submitted here.

Each virtual conversation will be livestreamed on the provost's website, and a recording will be available on the same webpage two to three days after the event.
