Purdue Conferences will host its own virtual conference focused on designing and running engaging events, regardless of virtual, in-person or hybrid formats.

“Engagement & Events in an Ever Changing World” will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Sept. 29.  In this program, attendees will learn about:

  • Adding value to virtual and in-person events.
  • Understanding student leadership resources such as Student Activities and Organizations, the Center for Career Opportunities and Purdue safety partners.
  • Discovering funding opportunities, including event sponsorship.
  • Following youth safety and protection guidelines.
  • Using innovative technologies and virtual event platforms.

The conference is free and open to any Purdue faculty, staff, student or corporate partners. Registration is required by Sept. 28 and is available along with more information on the event website. For registration questions, contact Kaitlin Floyd at confreg@purdue.edu. For conference questions, contact Pam Walker-Stokes at pawstokes@purdue.edu.
