Daniels to testify before U.S. Senate committee on higher education’s response to COVID-19

At 10 a.m. Thursday (June 4), the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions will hear testimony from President Mitch Daniels and other witnesses about higher education’s response to COVID-19. The public may view the hearing by livestream

The hearing, titled “COVID-19: Going Back to College Safely,” will consider what it will take for students to return to campuses in the fall. Joining Daniels in offering testimony will be Christina Paxson, president of Brown University; Logan Hampton, president of Lane College; and Georges Benjamin, executive director of American Public Health Association. Daniels will participate via video conference.
