Employee engagement survey inspires significant feedback

Staff on the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses were recently invited to share their opinion about Purdue by participating in an employee engagement survey, and there was a 66 percent response rate systemwide.

The survey was conducted by Emplify, a third-party vendor, which reported that both the survey response rate and the amount of employee feedback (via approximately 2,800 comments) exceeded its standard first-time survey benchmark.

Over the coming weeks, Human Resources will partner with Emplify to review and analyze the data and begin to share those insights with campus leaders.

“I would like to thank those staff that took the time to make their voices heard by participating in the survey. The responses provided will allow us to use your feedback to make meaningful and data-driven decisions about where we need to focus our attention over the coming year,” says Bill Bell, vice president for human resources.
