Purdue to host workshop on flexible hybrid electronics
The Birck Nanotechnology Center will host the NextFlex workshop on flexible hybrid electronics applications for structural health and asset monitoring systems Oct. 28-30.
The workshop will consist of three sessions and over 20 speakers. The sessions will discuss flexible hybrid electronics (FHE) in agriculture technology, industrial asset monitoring and monitoring for composites. More information on the full workshop agenda and locations for each event can be found here.
Talks within the sessions include an Internet of Things platform giving farmers real-time data, structural health monitoring, sensors in manufacturing equipment, material state sensing and estimation and process monitoring.
Registration for the event can be completed online. The deadline to register is Oct. 27 or until the workshop is full.
NextFlex formed in 2015 through a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Department of Defense and FlexTech Alliance. NextFlex is a consortium of companies, academic institutions, nonprofits and state, local and federal governments with a shared goal of advancing FHE manufacturing in the U.S.
