Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Expo now accepting research talk and poster abstract submissions

Undergraduate students have until Oct. 29 to apply to present a research talk (oral presentation) or poster on their research or creative endeavors at the 2019 Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Expo.

This daylong celebration of undergraduate research will hold research talks from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 18 in Stewart Center, Room 214. The poster symposium will occur from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Purdue Memorial Union's South Ballroom. Both events will highlight the research of undergraduate students and are open to the public.

Undergraduate researchers and scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to participate. The process of disseminating research results, gaining valuable feedback from peers and professors, and networking with other participants is a vital step in the learning process from engaging in a research experience.

To apply or to learn more about the event, visit http://www.purdue.edu/undergrad-research. The website also features this semester's seminar series, resources for getting started in undergraduate research, and a method to subscribe to the undergraduate research newsletter.

The Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Expo is organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research. In addition to the Fall Expo, the OUR hosts the spring Undergraduate Research Conference and the Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium.
