Purdue chemistry department to host colorful chemistry show

Purdue’s Department of Chemistry will present the “Color of Chemistry,” a chemistry show that will display various chemical reactions that exhibit colors across the whole color spectrum. The show will run 10:30-11:30 a.m. Oct. 19 in Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry, Room 200.

The event is free and open to the general public. At several times in the presentation, the audience will have the opportunity to participate.

The annual event is part of Purdue College of Science’s mission to introduce K-12 students to the wonders of science.
