IRB training session with associate chair for education to be offered on West Lafayette campus

Professor Jeff Haddad, IRB associate chair for education, will present an interactive session titled “Designing and Preparing Your IRB Application” at noon Nov. 6 in Young Hall, Room 354. The session will end at 3 p.m.; however, attendees may finish early depending on their training needs.

Registration is required and a light lunch will be served. This session is limited to 20 people with 10 reserved spaces for principal investigators (faculty or approved staff). For other regular training opportunities, visit www.irb.purdue.edu/training.

Attendees should be prepared to use the new Cayuse IRB system and discuss the proposed population, procedures, recruitment, analysis methods and any external collaborations planned for the study. Human subjects research training must be completed before attending the session.

Registration, which can be completed through Qualtrics, will be open until spots fill or Oct. 29.
