It’s a week of live music around the West Lafayette campus, leading off Thursday (Oct. 24) with Camille Thomas, whose virtuosity has won admirers and matched her with an exquisite 18th century cello. Also coming are Bands & Orchestras’ popular Swing Dance evening and Purdue Musical Organizations’ Indiana All-State Show Choir Concert. Music is in the air. Don’t Miss It!

Camille Thomas, a rising star cellist, will bring richly flavored chamber music on her star cello with piano accompaniment by Julien Brochal. Dr. Sally Satel, a psychiatrist and resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, will speak on “What IF We Went Beyond A Disease Model of Addiction?” Format: Conversation by Satel and President Mitch Daniels.
