Purdue University Global seeking new provost

Purdue University Global has an outstanding opportunity for an academic leader to serve as the next provost. This individual will drive student success, learning and governance while working with the senior administrative team to advance the university’s reputation and census growth.

As chief academic officer, the provost will provide strategic intellectual and administrative leadership to ensure that Purdue Global achieves increasingly higher levels of academic excellence and recognition.

The provost will advise the chancellor on planning, policy and operations at the university, consult on operating budgets and establish and monitor measures of institutional effectiveness. In collaboration with the deans, this leader will strategize on the development, review and implementation of new academic programs and improvement of existing ones.

The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree (PhD, DBA or JD), more than 10 years of related experience and a proven success at the academic dean level or higher.
