Upcoming webcasts from Fidelity to focus on financial fitness, elder fraud

Purdue’s retirement partner, Fidelity, is offering upcoming webcasts to present practical tips to help employees live well financially, today and tomorrow. All webcasts are free, and employees do not need to have a Fidelity account to participate.

“Women: Demand More from Your Money and Health” will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. June 19 and repeated from 2 to 3 p.m. June 20 and will be hosted by Gayle King of CBS's "This Morning." Kathleen Murphy, president of Fidelity Personal Investing, and Mindy Grossman, chief executive officer of WW (Weight Watchers) will join the conversation.

Using real-life examples, this webcast will offer women clear action steps to demand from their money. The presenters will provide insights gained through their own successes and failures – personally and professionally.

Register online for either session. For those who are interested but cannot watch at either time, employees can still register for the replay and watch it at a more convenient time.

“Protecting Against Elder Financial Fraud” will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. June 26 and from  2 to 3 p.m. June 27.

Elder financial abuse – lottery scams, online fraud and even dishonest family members – is a growing problem targeting the most vulnerable people in our lives. Attendees will learn about the steps to take to protect themselves – and their loved ones – as they grow older in a digital world. The webcast will explain what elder financial fraud looks like, what to watch out for when caring for older relatives or loved ones and important ways to protect against the criminals who prey on the most vulnerable.

Register online. A replay will also be offered for this webcast.
