Reminder: Big Idea Challenge 2.0 proposals are due Monday

Discovery Park’s Big Idea Challenge 2.0 submission deadline is Monday (April 15). Those planning to submit a proposal for consideration should email their completed materials to Nicole Finley, Discovery Park operations manager, at kingman@purdue.edu by 5 p.m.

As a final reminder, proposal narratives must be no longer than three pages, not including references (if necessary) and the required budget attachment, submitted in one PDF file. Proposals should outline how the team will work with at least two Purdue colleges and two Discovery Park centers/institutes.

Proposal teams chosen to advance to the next round of oral presentations will be notified by April 29.

For more information on the Big Idea Challenge, see the program guidelines/FAQ page. For answers to additional questions, contact Sasha Boltasseva, professor in the College of Engineering and inaugural Discovery Park fellow, at aeb@purdue.edu, or Cliff Wojtalewicz, assistant director of Discovery Park, at cliffw@purdue.edu.

About Discovery Park

Discovery Park is a place where Purdue researchers move beyond traditional boundaries, collaborating across disciplines and with policymakers and business leaders to create solutions for a better world. Grand challenges of global health, global conflict and security, and those that lie at the nexus of sustainable energy, world food supply, water and the environment are the focus of researchers in Discovery Park. The translation of discovery to impact is integrated into the fabric of Discovery Park through entrepreneurship programs and partnerships.
