Event to celebrate teaching excellence by grad students

The Purdue Teaching Academy and the Graduate School will present graduate student teaching awards Tuesday (April 23) at the 21st annual Celebration of Graduate Student Teaching Excellence. The awards ceremony begins at 7 p.m. at Ross-Ade Pavilion's Shively Club. The ceremony is open to the public.

The following awards will be presented:

* The Teaching Academy’s Graduate Instructional Development Certificates, Graduate Teaching Certificates, Advanced Graduate Teaching Certificates, Certificates of Foundations in College Teaching, and Certificates of Practice in College Teaching.

* Teaching Academy Graduate Teaching awards, for which departments nominate their top teaching assistants.

A full list of recognitions and honorees will be published in Purdue Today following the event.
