Participants sought for free nutrition, fitness assessments
The Department of Nutrition Science is seeking participants to partake in free, personalized nutrition and fitness assessments conducted by Purdue senior undergraduate students in NUTR 415: Practicum in Nutrition, Fitness and Health.
Participants will receive nutrition and fitness assessments, free access to a fitness facility for the 2019 spring semester and an individualized plan for making changes to their physical health specifically related to nutrition and fitness. Participants will meet with their student consultant on a weekly basis from February to the end of the semester. All assessments are supervised by the course instructor.
These assessments are open to Purdue staff and faculty, as well as the Greater Lafayette community. Space is limited, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone who does not receive a spot in this program for this spring can be added to a waiting list for the 2019 fall semester.
Anyone interested in participating should contact Rachel Clark at rachelclark@purdue.edu.
