Engagement and Service-Learning Summit set for Feb. 28

The fourth annual Engagement and Service-Learning Summit will be held 1-5 p.m. Feb. 28 in Honors College and Residences North, Honors Hall. Hosted by the Office of Engagement and Purdue Honors College, the event brings together faculty, students, staff and community partners to discuss best practices in engagement and service-learning, highlight accomplishments and increase collaboration opportunities.

This year’s theme is "Connecting through Listening and Scholarship," featuring two interactive sessions -- a beginning track on critical listening and partnership formation and an advanced track on developing engaged scholarship. The event will conclude with a showcase of student posters and community projects in conjunction with networking and hors d’oeuvres.

The full agenda and more information on registration and poster submission are available online. For more information on the summit, contact Lisa Duncan at llduncan@purdue.edu or 765-494-0899.
