A new year is seen as a time to start anew, and if anyone ever started anew, it was Cinderella. The Broadway musical hit "Cinderella," coming to Purdue, affirms the opportunity for a new chance and a new day -- and glorious music. Don't Miss It!

JANUARY 7

"By Design: KECD International Poster Exhibition" (Jan. 7-Feb. 9) opens in the Robert L. Ringel Gallery in the Stewart Center. KECD is the Korean Ensemble of Contemporary Design. Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday (except holidays). Exhibition

"Kinky Boots," a much-heralded Broadway musical featuring a heartfelt story and pop music by Cyndi Lauper, steps onto Purdue's stage. 7:30 p.m. Elliott Hall of Music. Tickets: $28-$60. Event
