Purdue United Way Campaign needs more pledges to make goal

Purdue's 2018 United Way campaign needs more support to help reach its goal of $850,000. As of Tuesday (Nov. 6), the campaign still needed close to $150,000 to reach its goal by the celebration event on Nov. 14.

Megan Dale, director of Purdue United Way, said that with Purdue’s 150th celebration this year, she wants Purdue to be a leader in the community for United Way more than ever.

Purdue faculty and staff can use the ePledge system to make donations. As in years past, donors have the ability to donate an unrestricted gift to the United Way of Greater Lafayette or can choose a specific agency for their donations. Gifts can be made in various ways, including payroll deduction or a one-time donation. To make a gift via ePledge, visit www.purdue.edu/unitedway and click on the button "Give Now." Faculty and staff also can renew their 2017 gifts.
