Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Expo now accepting oral presentation and poster abstract submissions

Undergraduate students have until Thursday (Oct. 18) to apply to present an oral presentation or poster on their research or creative endeavors at the 2018 Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Expo.

This daylong celebration of undergraduate research will begin on Nov. 12 in Stewart Center, Room 214, with oral presentations from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The poster symposium will be 1-4 p.m. in Purdue Memorial Union's North and South ballrooms. Both events will highlight the research of undergraduate students and are open to the public.

Undergraduate researchers and scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to participate. The process of disseminating research results, gaining valuable feedback from peers and professors, and networking with other participants is a vital step in the learning process from engaging in a research experience, says JJ Sadler, associate director of the Office of Undergraduate Research.
