Job family structure town hall meeting added; more to be scheduled

Due to the popularity of the recent job family structure town hall meeting led by the Office of the Treasurer, Human Resources is hosting additional meetings. The first one is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday (Oct. 5) in Stewart Center's Loeb Playhouse.

The job family structure initiative -- part of the Transform Purdue project to streamline, simplify, organize and automate Purdue business processes and related systems -- impacts all employees, as it will give Purdue staff consistent titles, clarity on how their positions fit within the broad University structure and transparency into how their careers can progress. Every job has been analyzed for appropriate placement into a more transparent system of job families and subfamilies.

The town hall meetings, which include a presentation, provide an opportunity for employees to learn more about the upcoming changes and to have their questions answered.

Additional town hall meetings are being scheduled, and information will be shared once finalized. The Human Resources-led meeting Friday will be live-streamed at www.kaltura.com/tiny/88evv.
