Candidates for director of Purdue Institute for Integrative Neuroscience to give presentations

Four candidates for the position of director of the Purdue Institute for Integrative Neuroscience will give public seminars in November and December. All interested members of the Purdue community are invited to attend these presentations.

Candidates and presentation times and locations are:

* Wednesday (Nov. 28) -- Keith Kluender, department head and professor of speech, language, and hearing sciences. 12:30 p.m. Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 121.

* Wednesday (Nov. 28) -- Riyi Shi, professor of basic medical sciences and biomedical engineering. 2:30 p.m. Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 121.

* Dec. 5 (W) -- Chris Rochet, professor of medicinal chemistry and molecular pharmacology. 12:30 p.m. Drug Discovery Building, Lobby Conference Room.

* Dec. 5 (W) --  Michael Heinz, professor of speech, language and hearing sciences and professor of biomedical engineering. 2:30 p.m. Drug Discovery Building, Lobby Conference Room.

The presentation will be an hour in length with 20 minutes for candidates' science talk, 20 minutes for their vision of PIIN, and 20 minutes for a question-and-answer session.
