Purdue United Way Campaign to kick off Wednesday

Purdue's 2018 United Way campaign kicks off Wednesday (Sept. 12) with the goal of raising $825,000 for local agencies in need. The campaign ends Nov. 14.

Rhonda Phillips, dean of the Honors College, is this year’s campaign chair, and David Reingold, the Justin S. Morrill Dean of Liberal Arts, is the vice chair.

The campaign kickoff will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on the steps of Hovde Hall. Provost Jay Akridge will be speaking. Members of the campus community are invited to celebrate the kickoff and are encouraged to wear their Live United apparel.
