The Purdue University Police Department is holding a focus group on July 31 to gather feedback on "Verbal Judo," a newly created training program focused on verbal de-escalation techniques that can be used during confrontations or difficult situations in the workplace.

The focus group will be held 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. at the Purdue Police Department, 205 S. Martin Jischke Drive and is open to faculty, students and staff. Participants will hear a presentation about the training program and then will have the chance to offer feedback.

To participate in the focus group, contact Lt. Sarah Sheppard at sasheppard@purdue.edu.
