Reminder: SAP portal, including Employee Self-Service, will pause at 5 p.m. Friday

In conjunction with the General Ledger (Finance) transformation go-live, employees are reminded that the OnePurdue (Purdue SAP Portal), located on the OneCampus Portal, will pause starting at 5 p.m. Friday (June 29) through July 8. Employees will be able to access it again on July 9.

The Purdue SAP Portal houses a variety of information including Employee Self-Service (ESS). ESS contains employee information such as:

* Payment (salary statements).
* Payroll deduction giving.
* Performance management (staff evaluations by manager).
* Personal information (address, bank details, etc.).
* Taxes.
* Working time (leave requests and approvals). Therefore, employees are encouraged to discuss leave time with their managers and submit their time-off requests today (for any time off through July 9). Once the system is available on July 9, requests can be completed.

The Purdue SAP Portal also houses Manager Self-Service (MSS). MSS contains managerial information such as:

* Assign Supervisor / Assign Chief. Supervisor and chief change requests must be approved by 5 p.m. Friday. Any remaining, unapproved requests will be rejected at 5 p.m. Supervisor and chief requests can be resubmitted July 9.

* Working Time (leave approvals), Approvers for leave requests will need to address those items by 5 p.m. Friday in preparation for the SAP pause. At 5 p.m., all leave requests will be auto-approved.

As a reminder, when the portal becomes accessible again following the pause, BoilerKey -- the University’s new two-factor authentication service -- will be required to access it.
