Proposals sought for conference focused on teaching, innovation, presence

Faculty proposals are being accepted for the TIP 2018 Conference being put on by Purdue Global's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. TIP stands for teaching, innovation and presence.

The conference, which is set for Aug. 27-29, will address current and future trends in higher education, reflect innovative and cutting-edge content, and deliver research-based principles and practices. This year's theme is "Supporting Students Over Time: The 4 C's: Community, Commitment, Communication, Completion."

The TIP 2018 Program Committee is seeking proposals that reflect the evidence-based practices in higher education informed by research, theory, concepts and practices. The conference will feature individual, group and poster presentations.

More information about submitting a proposal is available here. Proposal submissions are due at 11:59 p.m. ET June 25 and must be submitted online. Presenters will be notified of their acceptance via email by July 30. Accepted presenters are required to submit all final presentation materials (presentation slides, handouts, papers, etc.) by Aug. 13.
