Open labs scheduled for 2018-19 parking permit purchases

Open labs have been scheduled to assist permit holders with purchasing/renewing their parking permits for the 2018-19 academic year.

Parking Facilities is launching a new license plate recognition (LPR) system so the purchasing process is slightly different this year from in the past. Permit holders who would like assistance in completing their permit purchase may attend one of the walk-in lab times listed below:

* June 4-8: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Stanley Coulter Hall, Room G046.
* July 16-20: 3-5 p.m., Stanley Coulter Hall, Room G046.

Attendees should bring pictures of their license plates in order to expedite the process. Faculty and staff may register three vehicles per permit, but only one of those vehicles can be parked on campus at a time.

All parking permit purchases must be completed online this year through the parking portal by completing the following steps:

* Select “Permits” from the top navigation section of the webpage.
* Select “Get Permits.”
* Select “Purchase a New Permit.”
* Then follow the steps accordingly.

Active permit holders should continue to use their current passes until they expire on Aug. 15. Additionally, beginning in early June, Parking Facilities will be placing sign-up reminders on vehicles that are scanned by Parking Facilities staff with the LPR software but not yet found in the system.

Questions about the open labs or the purchasing process may be directed to Parking Facilities at 765-494-9497.
