Crockpot cooking classes available for Purdue faculty, staff and students

Crockpot cooking demonstrations will be held this summer in the Demonstration Kitchen at the Córdova Recreational Sports Center.

Menu and ingredients are provided. Participants take care of the prep work and leave with a meal for four in their crockpot. Participants without a crockpot can bring a container to take the meal with them to cook at home.

Crockpot Complete Meals for Four will be held 12:15-12:45 p.m. Fridays in the Demonstration Kitchen. The demonstration classes are open to all Purdue students, faculty and staff and their families.

The recipes to be featured are:

* June 8: Sesame Chicken with Quinoa and Stir Fry Vegetables
* June 22: Stuffed Bell Peppers
* July 13: Turkey Mole Tacos
* July 27: Curried Chicken with Cauliflower and Couscous

The cost is $20 per person, and advance registration is necessary. To register, go online or visit the Member Services desk at the center. Membership at Recreation & Wellness (including "the Co-Rec") is not required to attend.
