Women in Engineering inviting high school juniors to campus

Registration is open for a free, engineering-focused program geared toward high school juniors being held April 9 at Purdue.

"Juniors Exploring Engineering at Purdue" is sponsored by the Women in Engineering Program and is targeted specifically toward young women with an engineering focus. Juniors, their parents and teachers are invited.

Students are invited to connect with current engineering students, interact with engineering career professionals, and explore the engineering disciplines that intrigue them.

The day on campus will be 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Those arriving on April 8 are invited to attend a welcome assembly in Neil Armstrong Hall. Students can tour engineering labs, speak with engineering clubs and organizations, and visit with faculty, staff and current engineering students.

Registration deadline is 8 a.m. Tuesday (April 3). More information and online registration are available at https://www.purdue.edu/wiep/.
