New vendor for Center for Healthy Living announced

On Feb. 24, the Board of Trustees approved a three-year contract, effective July 1, with One to One Health to act as operator for the Center for Healthy Living on Purdue's West Lafayette campus. One to One Health will take over vendor management from Premise Health.

The selection of One to One Health was based on a request for proposals, and finalists were reviewed by a campus committee. In operating the center, the vendor provides access to primary care services; additional health resources, such as health coaching and general wellness promotion; adherence to evidence-based medicine and referrals to specialists and providers; and learning, discovery and outreach opportunities for benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue health plan.

One to One Health is a physician-led, corporate health management company that enhances traditional health care benefits for employees.

 “The addition of One to One Health to the Purdue community will allow us to continue to provide the services and care already in place while also offering opportunity to enhance our wellness programs for employees and their families,” says Candace Shaffer, interim associate benefits director. “The transition to One to One Health should be seamless, and most importantly, employees can rest assure that their services will not change.”

Operational hours will remain the same, and the One to One Health patient portal will be available for scheduling appointments and communicating with Center for Healthy Living providers.

 “We are committed to a successful transition from Premise Health to One to One Health,” Shaffer says. “Ensuring the staff at the center feel supported by both vendors throughout the transition is a priority.”

The center is open 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Lab hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
