Purdue Teaching Academy Day set for Oct. 26; presentations, posters on teaching being accepted

Members of the Purdue University Teaching Academy and graduate teaching assistants will share insights on their teaching Oct. 26 during the third annual Teaching Academy Day.

A full day of 20-minute, concurrent sessions will be presented by academy members starting at 9 a.m. and running through 3:50 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 214A-C. Posters on scholarship of teaching and learning presented by Purdue teaching assistants also will be available throughout the day. A full list of topics, presenters and times will be available on the Teaching Academy website a week before Teaching Academy Day.

All faculty members, teaching assistants and other members of the Purdue community interested in innovations in university teaching are invited to attend this free event. Participants may pick any session or stay for the day. There is no registration.

Limited space is still available for academy members wishing to present or teaching assistants wanting to submit posters on their teaching research. Presentation topics may be submitted here; poster topics may be submitted here.
