Purdue United Way to hold Splash or Cash Challenge

The Purdue United Way Campaign will hold a Splash or Cash Challenge from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday (Sept. 16) at Loeb Fountain in Founders Park.

Faculty, staff and students who are challenged to participate may either take the "splash" by going through Loeb Fountain or pay the "cash" by making a donation to the campaign.

Those who take the splash option are asked to film their walk through the fountain, nominate three others to "splash or cash" on the video and then post the video to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #PurdueUWsplash. Individuals who decide to choose the "cash" option will make a donation at www.purdue.edu/unitedway (click the red "Donate" button) and then nominate three others for the challenge.

Participants choosing the "splash" option do so at their own risk. Beware of slippery conditions around the fountain.

Questions about the Splash or Cash Challenge or the Purdue United Way Campaign can be directed to Becky Hershey, Purdue United Way director, at unitedway@purdue.edu or 49-49240.
