President Mitch Daniels spoke with high school students from all over the state on Tuesday (May 17) at the M-STEM3 Student Fair and evGrandPrix. A photo gallery is available here.

Daniels was on hand at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to wave the green flag for IndyCar practice for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. Practice, however, was canceled because of the weather.

The fair and evGrandPrix are part of M-STEM3 (Motorsports STEM for Manufacturing and Medicine) at Purdue, an education initiative designed to spark students' interest in STEM fields by taking advantage of Purdue's location near the "Racing Capital of the World."
