Purdue University Libraries has announced the 2015 "Why I Love Purdue Libraries" video contest winners.

The winning video, "I Know of Such Places," was created by Tre' Bennett, a junior in computer graphics technology. Second place went to Matt Goldstein, a junior in business management, and Zach Riddle, a junior in mass communication, for "Something Missing."

Third place was a tie between Andrew Fan, a senior in mechanical engineering, and Chi Vo and Valerie Li for their unnamed videos. Vo is a junior in computer and information technology and Li graduated with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering in December 2015. They worked together on their entry.

First place received $1,000. The second- and third-place finishers received $750 and $500 respectively. The winners were selected by the Undergraduate Student Libraries Council and were finalized by the Purdue Libraries associate deans, director of strategic communication and Dean of Libraries Jim Mullins. Purdue Federal Credit Union supported the contest.

The videos will be featured on the libraries website and communication channels, and all awards distributed through the Division of Financial Aid.
