Transportation Service to serve as contact point for bus services

Effective Jan. 1, Purdue partnered with Express Air Coach (EAC) to handle the University’s charter bus services, and customers have been making bus reservations requests through EAC. Based on customer feedback, going forward, Transportation Service will be the point of contact for the reservation process. EAC continues to be the University’s charter provider.

The Request for Estimate form is available on the Transportation Service website. As a reminder, all those wishing to reserve bus services must completely fill out and submit this form, as well as have the accounting information on hand at the time the reservation is made. Without this information, the trip will not be confirmed or reserved. Each area’s business office will have the necessary information if it is not known offhand. The telephone number for charter services -- 49-46554 -- remains the same, but all future reservation requests and calls will be fielded by Transportation Service, which will serve as a liaison between EAC and customers. Outside of regular business hours, customers may contact EAC at 847-530-3043.

EAC will continue to handle any charter reservations that have already been arranged.

Transportation Service will handle the billing through Ariba for our departments with fund/cost centers or by PSCD upload for our business partners.
