Participants sought for free nutrition, fitness assessments

Free personalized nutrition and fitness assessments and planning (or recommendations) are being offered through the Department of Nutrition Science.

Senior students within the department will provide assessments and offer recommendations to help participants reach their nutrition, fitness and health-related goals. The students are supervised by faculty.

Participants will meet with the students for one hour each week starting the week of Feb. 1 or 8 and going through the end of the semester. Participants also will receive a free semester membership to the A.H. Ismail Center and view a cooking demonstration during one of the weekly sessions. All interactions will take place at Lyles-Porter Hall.

The assessments are open to Purdue staff and faculty and the Greater Lafayette community. Space is limited, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
