Forums for director of Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center scheduled

Purdue will host three candidates for the position of director of the Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center, and candidate forums will be held that are open to the public.

Each candidate will make a 30-minute presentation, followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session. The candidates and their forum times are:

* Feb. 25 (Th). 11 a.m. to noon, Marriott Hall, Room 237. Xavier Hernandez, graduate assistant at Asian American Cultural Center, University of Illinois.

* Feb. 29 (M). 2-3 p.m. Stewart Center, Room 307. Kenneth Importante, assistant director at Asian American Cultural Center, University of Illinois.

* March 8 (Tu). 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Marriott Hall, Room 237. Theresa Kang, associate director of East Asian Studies Center, Indiana University.
