College of Liberal Arts will host International Week on Jan. 25-27
Students will get to explore some of the numerous study abroad opportunities Purdue has to offer during International Week hosted by the College of Liberal Arts on Jan. 25-27.
Students in all colleges/schools and majors can participate in CLA study abroad programs. Interested persons can learn about the faculty-led programs featured during the week through several events:
* Speak with an advisor or one of the CLA interns about study abroad options from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 25-26 in the lobby of Beering Hall. Free popcorn will be available.
* The CLA Study Abroad Mini-Fair will be 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in Beering Hall, Room 1284. Faculty program representatives will be available to answer questions. Coffee and doughnuts will be available.
* Faculty members will give short presentations on their summer study abroad programs they are leading from 6-7 p.m. Jan. 27 in Beering Hall, Room 1230. A taco bar will be available.
Other CLA Study Abroad events this semester:
* Global Seminar Series: Student stories from abroad. 5:30-6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in Beering Hall, Room 1230.
* Study abroad applications due March 1 for Summer and Fall 2016 programs.
* Study abroad program planning coffee hour for faculty is 4-5 p.m. April 14 in Beering Hall, Room 1284.
