Krannert dean search announced

An internal search is underway for the next dean of the Krannert School of Management.
As chief executive officer of Krannert, the dean will provide academic, intellectual and administrative leadership to the school. The dean, who will report directly to Purdue's provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, is responsible for overseeing Krannert's teaching, research and engagement missions; for representing the school to internal and external constituents; and for ensuring that the school is fiscally well managed. The dean also will engage and work collaboratively with key Krannert stakeholders to create and execute a strategy for enhancing Krannert's formidable stature as one of the nation's leading schools of management and business.
The search committee is chaired by Jay Akridge, the Glenn W. Sample Dean of Agriculture. Other members of the committee are:
* Justin Tobias, professor and head, Department of Economics, and senior associate dean, Krannert School of Management.
* Jack Barron, the Loeb Professor of Economics and director of graduate programs in economics, Krannert School of Management.
* Xiaoyan Zhang, professor and the Duke Realty Chair in Finance, Krannert School of Management.
* Manohar Kalwani, marketing area coordinator and the OneAmerica Professor of Management, Krannert School of Management.
* Prabuddha De, the Accenture Professor of Information Technology and professor of management, Krannert School of Management.
* Maria Crowe, president of manufacturing operations, Eli Lilly & Co. (Indianapolis); Dean's Advisory Council.
* Nanci Forney, director of recruitment, Krannert School of Management.
* Melodi Emanuel, MBA candidate, Krannert School of Management.
