Oh, the places health and medicine can go, if social justice is part, says Carl Hart, a neuroscientist, author and associate professor in Department of Psychology, Columbia University. Books and Coffee, in its 65th year, has long since settled comfortably into 4-5 p.m. Thursdays in February. It's almost as comfortable as an overstuffed chair, a pillow, and an afghan and a good book, with a warm drink nearby. Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year (Year of the Sheep) and its associated festival are celebrated with a lively reception and a renowned movie. The reception, open to all, will have Chinese food, music and calligraphy demonstrations, and performance of folk and lion dances. 2 p.m. in PMU's South Ballroom.
